Authorized STOBAG
Specialist Partner in Vancouver BC
Vancouver and the Lower Mainland's source for STOBAG retractable awnings, bioclimatic louvered roofs, and zip-track screens, all supplied, installed, registered, and serviced by Five Eight Twelve.
Why STOBAG
Swiss design since 1964. Canadian-made.
STOBAG is the global standard for premium retractable awnings, bioclimatic pergolas, and exterior shading, and the brand most-frequently named in BC architectural specifications when a project calls for cassette awnings (the "BOX" category Casabox and Tendabox define).
Swiss Engineering
STOBAG has designed shading and weather-protection systems in Switzerland since 1964, with engineered tolerances, finishes, and mechanical reliability that translate directly to long service life in BC's wet climate.
Canadian-Made
STOBAG North America manufactures and distributes from Burlington, Ontario. Lead times, parts availability, and warranty service are domestic, not subject to overseas shipping or trans-Pacific supply-chain disruption.
1,000+ Specialist Partners Worldwide
STOBAG works exclusively through trained Specialist Partners. Five Eight Twelve is part of that network, the only sales channel STOBAG accredits to install, register, and service its products.
What this means for you
What being an Authorized STOBAG Specialist Partner means.
STOBAG only sells through trained Specialist Partners. Becoming one requires direct training and accreditation by STOBAG. Installation, fabric specification, motor pairing, sensor calibration, and warranty registration are all taught and certified by the manufacturer rather than delegated to retailers or general contractors.
For you that means three things. One: every STOBAG unit we install is correctly specified for its exposure, mounting condition, and intended use. We don't up-sell or down-spec to suit inventory. Two: warranty registration is filed against your project at completion, locking in the 5-year STOBAG term where eligible. Three: parts and service stay in-channel: you call us, we call STOBAG North America in Burlington, parts ship domestically and we install them ourselves.
Five Eight Twelve carries an extensive STOBAG installation history across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with deep, industry-leading product knowledge across the full STOBAG range from residential retractable awnings to large-span Bavona louvered roofs on hospitality projects.

STOBAG's warranty is administered through Specialist Partners, not directly to consumers. That means you call us. We coordinate with STOBAG North America, source parts from Burlington, and our installers perform the work.
We also service STOBAG units installed by other dealers. Bring us your project documentation and we'll confirm parts compatibility and current serviceability.
